Discover the new Honda cbr1000rr Fireblade 2012, the latest in a long series of maxi Honda. Twenty years ago, in fact, the home of Tokyo presented his first Fireblade. Boasted an engine from 900cm3 and it was a crazy bike: Nice, fast, powerful, although very large and heavy. After the beauty of four decades, the Honda can boast of having still list the brand Fireblade. Taking the philosophy of total control, the 2012 model year has not been the subject of pronfondi changes but a slight restyling and aesthetic improvements as regards in particular the chassis and suspension. Although has no traction control or Ride by wire system
Design
The design of the Honda cbr1000rr Fireblade m. y 2012 change shortly. The new hull layers makes the front moderately more edgy and helps to improve the aerodynamic qualities of the medium. The new fairing parts are inserted laterally to the headlights and create a zig-zag effect. Vaguely reminiscent of a lightning strike and, personally, do not convince me at all. I would have preferred that the front was not touched. You know though: de gustibus non est disputandum. To be true to say that saw the live front appears more graceful in photos.
Engine
The engine of the Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade is the classic four-cylinder Honda home. Measurements of bore and stroke of 76X55 .1 mm to 999cm3. Has the beauty of 176 HP at 12,000 gir/min and a pair of 112 Nm to 8,500 gir/min. The walls of the cylinder are treated silicon carbide with nickel (Ni-SiC) in order to improve the internal friction. Not bad for a bike that wants to be remembered for dynamic skills before for power. There are unfortunately also in this version 2012 the ride by wire and traction control. Strange but true considering that now all the competition has them as standard. Furthermore Honda’s recipe is clear: improve cycling until obtaining a motorcycle that does not need to be driven electronics safely. Remapped ECU, particularly improved delivery at low speed, to make the bike more performant right where the powerful thousand suffer most in bends and narrow curves. This clutch. Performs well and helps in detached more demanding.

The suspension of the Honda cbr1000rr Fireblade were modified in order to ensure the new model more grip and traction. The back is now associated with the Pro-Link system a damper type ‘ Balance Free Rear Cushion ‘, made with the Showa, equipped with double room.
