Bridgestone presented at the Portuguese circuit of Algarve new Battlax Hypersport S20 sports tire, tire Japanese product developed by drawing on the experience and knowledge gained in nearly a decade by supplier in MotoGP (the 2012 will be, inter alia, the fourth season of ‘ single source ‘).
The Battlax Hypersport S20 is the first rubber Battlax series to bear the marking ‘ S (sport) and goes alongside in the familiar range Hypersport BT-016 and BT-016 Pro. Bridgestone declares that the tyre has been developed keeping in mind the needs of European motorcycle sport bikers with between 600 and 1300 cc, which led to the creation of a rubber that provides maximum performance and handling on all types of road (and track) and in all conditions.
As mentioned, to find the right compromise in terms of wear and tear, Bridgestone engineers have not hesitated to use technology developed in years of MotoGP. The result is a triple layer pneumatic design which ensures greater contact area at all angles of bends (with obvious benefits for the grip) and boasts an excellent grip in the wet. The Battlax Hypersport S20 is already available in Europe in 4 steps at the front and rear 7 (available after the ‘ continue ‘ with some Bridgestone Summit declarations).
