Bonhams auction is for the Honda Britain RC30 with which Carl Fogarty won the F1 category and the Senior TT in 1990, managing to exceed the 120 mph on the Mountain Circuit for the third time in the history of the prestigious motorcycle race. The base of the auction is 70,000 pounds (approximately 78,000 €), which should rise quickly, however, since it is not a simple RC30 (bike already much sought after), but even the model with which King Carl won (before Trevor Nation, but with Joey Dunlop still out of shape for the ugly incident last year at Brands Hatch) one of the most spectacular races of the Senior Tourist Trophy that year, characterized by a path that went dry after the morning rain that had forced the organizers to leave with the test only in the late afternoon.

A few months ago always Bonhams has auctioned two Ducati models always related to Carl Fogarty, the pilot apparently motorcycling enthusiasts have by no means forgotten, and that even now it’s back to being talked about for the depth test is leading on the new Ducati Diavel.

The hope for the auction is of course the bike fall into the hands of a true motorcycling enthusiasts who appreciate and value it as due to a model not only sought after by many collectors, but also loved the excitement that has been able to give when the pilot Britain has led to the victory on the now century-old (but no less fascinating) Mountain Circuit.
