Suzuki Burgman scooter is the first Fuel-Cell fuel cell vehicle in the world that has been certified “Whole Vehicle Type Approval” in the European Union 1. The Burgman Fuel-Cell was presented for the first time at the 41st Tokyo Motor Show in October 2009. From February 2010 the Suzuki and British firm Intelligent Energy, which designed the fuel cell system of the Burgman Fuel-Cell, are testing the scooter on public roads within a project sponsored by the British government.
