The designer Luca Bar offers an engaging concept of a possible ‘ sports ‘ subsidiary Moto Guzzi, a motorcycle on which many fans of the House of Mandello del Lario have fantasised for years. Luca has imagined a motorcycle very attractive lines that encapsulates a typical V-Twin engine ‘ Guzzi ‘ in a modern sportbike chassis, and the result looks really guessed.

The design of the chassis and the rear section are clearly inspired by Aprilia RSV4, while the front suspension uses a Hossak type instead of the traditional fork in the same words of the creator of this graphic concept, “allows you to shorten the wheelbase from the bike, to the advantage of handling, real sore spot of Guzzi.” The mono-arm swingarm provides an extra touch of class to your model, as well as carbon fiber fairing, also deriving RSV4.

The fact that this concept bike is strongly inspired by the model of Aprilia would theoretically a home advantage for the Piaggio Group, which could-in theory-to develop a similar model with development costs rather than content. In reality, however, the possibility that Piaggio put in place a project similar to the idealized by Luca Bar are minimal. With Aprilia now firmly established in the role of ‘ sports ‘ mark, the role group and the management of trademark Guzzi are much less defined, even within Piaggio.
