Harley-Davidson, after the splendid Rocker C features a new custom “official” on a Sportster 1200. This is the Forty-Eight, a creation that rivals to care and detail with the achievements of the many preparatory HD parallel. “With its classic position bulldog, the Forty-Eight has an unmistakable look and a low profile that can only come from Harley-Davidson, ” announced Ray Drea, senior director of Stlyling HD. “The Forty-Eight brings past experiences and have a look explosive, vital and authentic.”
Evolution 1200 injection engine mounted on elastic supports is painted black and polished, while the tank “peanut” (a peanut) has 8 liters of capacity and a unique line. The mirrors are mounted under the handlebars and go along with the advanced platforms. Also new is the rear fender, clean and simple, leaving clearly visible from the rear tire 150 mounted on a black circle. A unique single-seat double-weave fabric is suitable for the pilot alone, while the passenger seat, the Po footrest and back are just some of many optional accessories available for purchase.
